For metal buildings & shops.

A bare metal building in the Rio Grande Valley is an oven and a sweat machine — it radiates heat all day and drips condensation when the temperature swings. Vinyl-faced insulation (the white vinyl-backed fiberglass blanket you see lining metal buildings) is the proven, budget-friendly fix, and CCL Contracting installs it across the Valley.

The vinyl facing does three jobs at once: it's a vapor barrier that stops condensation from forming on the cold metal, a clean finished surface that brightens the interior and reflects light, and the backing that holds the fiberglass blanket against the wall and roof. It's the standard insulation for shops, warehouses, barndominiums, and pole barns.

For buildings that need more — tighter air-sealing, higher R-value, or roof-deck strength — we also offer closed-cell spray foam. We'll give you an honest comparison of vinyl-faced blanket versus spray foam for your building and budget.

Metal buildings, shops & barns.

Vinyl-faced blanket installed for the structures that need it most.

Built for RGV metal buildings.

Condensation control. RGV humidity makes bare metal buildings sweat and drip. The vinyl vapor facing stops condensation from forming on the metal, protecting tools, inventory, and the structure.

Heat control. Metal radiates the Valley sun straight inside. A vinyl-faced blanket on the walls and roof cuts that radiant heat and makes a shop or warehouse usable in summer.

Budget-friendly & clean. It's far cheaper than foam for a large metal building, and the white facing gives you a bright, finished interior instead of bare steel.

Four steps.

1 · Free assessment. We measure the building and recommend vinyl-faced blanket, spray foam, or a combination based on use and budget.

2 · Scope & estimate. Facing type, R-value, and coverage scoped with an itemized written estimate.

3 · Install. Blanket installed tight against walls and roof with the vinyl facing clean and sealed at the seams.

4 · Walkthrough. We confirm coverage and seam sealing before we wrap up.

Vinyl-faced insulation questions.

What is vinyl-faced insulation?
It's fiberglass blanket insulation with a white vinyl (vapor-barrier) facing, used to line the walls and roof of metal buildings, shops, warehouses, and pole barns. The vinyl facing controls condensation, gives a clean finished interior, and reflects light. It's the standard insulation for metal structures.
Vinyl-faced blanket or spray foam for my metal building?
Vinyl-faced blanket is the budget-friendly choice and includes a built-in vapor barrier and finished surface — great for most shops and barns. Closed-cell spray foam costs more but air-seals tighter, delivers higher R-value, and adds structural strength. We'll give you an honest recommendation for your building.
Will it stop my metal building from sweating?
Yes — that's a main reason to install it. The vinyl vapor facing keeps humid Valley air from condensing on the cold metal, which is what causes the dripping and rust in bare metal buildings.
How much does vinyl-faced insulation cost in the RGV?
It's one of the more affordable insulation options for metal buildings, priced by square footage and R-value. A free on-site measurement gives you an exact number — and it's typically well below the cost of spray-foaming the same building.
Can you add it to an existing metal building?
Often yes, depending on the framing and wall girts. We assess access during the free evaluation and install where the structure allows; some retrofits are better suited to spray foam.
Do you insulate barndominiums and pole barns?
Yes. Vinyl-faced blanket is a common, cost-effective choice for barndominiums, pole barns, and shops, and we can pair it with spray foam in living areas that need more performance.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. CCL Contracting is licensed in Texas and carries general liability and workers' comp on every job. Premium Foam operates under CCL's licensing across the RGV.
