Why we launched Premium Foam.

Spray foam is the highest-impact upgrade most RGV homes can make. Done right, it cuts cooling bills by 30–40%, blocks moisture, and keeps your home comfortable in 100°F summers. Done wrong, it traps moisture, ruins air quality, and is expensive and disruptive to remove.

We launched Premium Foam to do this one thing better than anyone in the Valley. Same crew. Same construction-degreed leadership. Same standards as the rest of CCL Contracting — focused exclusively on spray foam insulation.

When you hire Premium Foam, you're hiring CCL Contracting's spray foam division. Full licensing. Full insurance. Real warranties. Real follow-through.

Spray foam is built for this climate.

CONDITION 01

Heat

The Rio Grande Valley sees 100°F days for months at a time. Spray foam — especially closed-cell — has the highest R-value per inch on the market. It's the difference between an AC bill that climbs all summer and one that stays flat.

CONDITION 02

Humidity

Coastal RGV humidity is a slow killer for fiberglass insulation. It absorbs moisture, sags, and loses R-value. Closed-cell spray foam is hydrophobic — it doesn't absorb water, doesn't compress, doesn't degrade.

CONDITION 03

Storm Season

Hurricane season is real here. Spray foam bonds directly to the substrate, adds structural rigidity, and resists wind uplift. Roof foam in particular has been documented to keep roofs intact through Category 3 winds.

What you'll actually save.

Most RGV homes recoup spray foam install cost in 3–5 years through energy savings alone. Here's what our customers typically see in year one:

20–40%
Lower cooling costs in the first summer after install
3–5
Years to ROI through energy savings alone
60%
Reduction in air infiltration vs. fiberglass batts
20+
Years of expected performance — spray foam doesn't sag or settle

Actual savings vary based on home size, age, and existing insulation. Every Premium Foam estimate includes a custom savings projection based on your home's specifics — no generic numbers.

Real answers.
Not sales pitches.

The questions homeowners and business owners across the RGV ask us most about spray foam. Don't see yours? Reach out.

What's the difference between open-cell and closed-cell spray foam?
Open-cell is softer, better for soundproofing, and lower cost. Closed-cell is denser, blocks moisture, and has the highest R-value per inch (R-7). We'll recommend the right one based on your home.
How much can spray foam save on my electric bill in the RGV?
Most RGV homes see 20–40% lower cooling costs after spray foam. With our heat, the savings show up immediately — typically the first summer after install.
How long does spray foam installation take?
Most homes are completed in 1–2 days depending on square footage. Larger custom homes or commercial projects can take 3–5 days.
Is spray foam safe to live with?
Yes. Once cured (24–48 hours), spray foam is inert and safe. During install, the work area is contained and ventilated. We follow OSHA protocols on every job.
Will spray foam pay for itself?
Most RGV homes recoup install cost in 3–5 years through energy savings alone. Beyond that, it's pure savings — and spray foam has a 20+ year expected performance life.
Can spray foam be applied over existing insulation?
Sometimes — depends on what's there. Old fiberglass batts are typically removed first. Old blown-in cellulose can sometimes stay. Our free assessment determines this.
What's R-value and why does it matter?
R-value measures how well a material resists heat transfer. Higher R = better insulation. Closed-cell spray foam has the highest R-value per inch (R-7) of any common insulation, which matters in the RGV's heat.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. We offer flexible payment options on most spray foam projects. Call (956) 463-4117 to discuss what works for your budget.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Premium Foam operates under CCL Contracting's Texas contractor license and carries general liability and workers' comp coverage on every job.
Do you serve all 13 RGV cities?
Yes — Weslaco, McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, Harlingen, Brownsville, San Benito, Mercedes, Donna, Alamo, San Juan, and Raymondville. Same crew, same standards, same response time.
